Day 2:
Today Hernesto and I are looking for public housing. Since were in Texas and Texas holds fourteen percent of all illegal immigrants in the U.S., we figured this would be a good place to stay for now and it would probably be easier to find jobs and housing. We found a place to live after searching all day. It's not exactly the nicest of all places, but it works for now, just as long as we have a roof over our heads. I posted a picture of our new home. The property is owned by the government and a lot of people on the poverty line live here. Today, Hernesto was offered a job by a nice man that hires illegal immigrants. He is working in construction and his boss payed him on the first day because we desperately needed the money. With the money we were able to walk to a near by gas station to buy a little food.
Hernesto... what a man!
